I LOVE Compassion International because of what they do for children all around the world. This week they reached an incredible milestone: ONE MILLION children sponsored through Compassion! Isn't that absolutely awesome?!?!
For the past few years we've been sponsoring a little girl from Indonesia named Shinta. Getting her letters in the mail is such a day brightener! It's been so cool to be a part of her life from the other side of the globe and "watch" her grow up. She (and her family) always express how grateful they are for our sponsorship and it's so humbling that such a small thing for us is giving her a better life and exposing her to Jesus and the truth about Him.
Compassion makes it so easy, and it's an incredible opportunity to make an eternal difference in a child's life. I can't encourage you enough to consider child sponsorship through Compassion, World Vision or some other Christian organization. It's a sacrifice with an eternal reward!
