11 weeks

This last week is a blur! I've been "burning the candle at both ends" getting up early for some things and staying up way too late. I'm so tired!!! Earlier today I was sitting on the couch with Taylor and could hardly keep my eyes open. I almost didn't get to this tonight but decided I better do it now because once I get behind it's unlikely I'll catch up. So this will be brief but you need to see pics of my kids! They're so precious.

Taylor is 11 weeks old today and it just amazes me how "grown up" he is. He is such a pleasant little guy and really good natured most of the time. :) I think he's close to laughing at me sometimes. Any day I expect to hear a giggle. One thing that occured to me today is that he isn't grunting as much as he used to. Sad! It was such a short, fun little phase.

Lily is at that "in between" stage where if she takes a good nap she's wired at night and has a hard time going to sleep, but if she skips her nap it's a little bit a nightmare because she's so crabby. The last couple days I've had her lay down and then have been waking her up after about an hour. She needs some rest but I don't want her to sleep the day away. It's too soon to tell if it's working. I'll let you know...

Andy worked this weekend so the weekend flew by. I really miss him on these weekends. And to be honest, it's tough sometimes to be home alone with the kids 6 consecutive days. I hope he doesn't have to work these Saturdays forever, but we're surviving. I am grateful that my spouse isn't in Iraq or something!

And in baby news... My friend Becca is expecting!!! Wah-hoo! She called this week and I'm SO happy for her, Jared and big sister Kayley. They're due end of April-ish so keep them and Baby in your prayers.
