This afternoon we'll be celebrating Lily's 4th birthday with our families. She's really excited and so are we. I can hardly believe that she's going to four tomorrow! Where does the time go?
She is really somethin' else - such an amazing little girl who talks from the time she rises in the morning to the time she falls asleep at night. Trust me on this, she talks All. Day. She has the sweetest little voice and is really becoming a character. She lost something a few days ago and said to me, "It'll turn up, Mom." So cute. And then in the car on the way to swimming lessons on Thursday we were talking and in response to something I said she replied, "You can say that again!"
I worked hard all day yesterday getting food ready for today - a calico bean dish, a lime jello/marshmallow/pineapple salad, barbeque beef for sandwiches, and Lily helped me decorate a homemade castle cake to go with our Princess theme. We're also having smokies, watermelon, chips and dip, potato salad and a baked mac and cheese. I love to feed people and I'm excited about the menu today. =)
I'll definitely post pics of today's festivities and let you know how all the birthday celebrating goes.
