Lily's buddy

On Saturday we had a blast celebrating the 4th birthday of one of Lily's closest little buddies. Nathan is exactly a week younger than Lily and his momma is one of my dearest friends. She and I were so thrilled to go through our pregnancies together, and raising these bambinos together has been a treat too.

Nathan and Lily are SO different from each other, but they really love each other. They love to play together and get excited to see each other. They went through a phase awhile back where they fought A LOT and it was almost torture to try to get together because they were arguing, yelling, taking things away from each other, etc. But they seem to have grown out of that and now play together really well with only a minor argument here or there. =)

Toward the end of the party Nathan got down on one knee and asked Lily to marry him! It was absolutely adorable!!! The funniest part is that Lily turned him down and told him she is going to marry her friend Benjamin. I kid you not! They argued about that for a moment before Nathan's mom told him that he had a lot of time before he'd be ready to get married and that Lily would probably change her mind by then. Ha! It was so funny!

We love Nathan, his baby brother and his mom and dad. They are some of our most precious friends in the world. It was a delight to be at Nathan's party to celebrate his 4th birthday. Here are a few picture highlights!
