Not Me! Monday

I did not find out on Wednesday that my 8 month old son is allergic to eggs. I did not seriously consider quitting nursing immediately at the thought of having to forego my favorite egg-containing products.

I also did not get online and start looking for egg free recipes and cookbooks! (I would not love any suggestions you might have!)

The power did not go out at 7 am on Thursday and stay out for more than SIX HOURS on a day when the high temperature was 20 degrees! Impossible. The fans running in my sleeping children's rooms did not stop working, waking them up immediately! I was not convinced that they'd have slept at least another half hour. And I wasn't just a little frustrated at the potential loss of 30 precious minutes of sleep! Not me!

I did not then pack up my kids and go stay with my parents for a couple days! And my hubby didn't have to come home from work to manually open the garage door so that I could leave! Nope!

Upon realizing that Taylor wasn't well enough to go to church yesterday I did not stay home with him and consequently spend the entire day in my jammies! I do not LOVE jammie days!

While he napped I did not spend a couple hours listenig to music on playlist.com and having my own mini worship service! I did not stand up and rock out to a little Mary Mary and Yolanda Adams! And I did not enjoy some old school Petra, Michael W. Smith, or Sandi Patty! Never!

My darling husband did not take Lily out for a daddy/daughter date after church to Space Aliens. He did not then take her to Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone! Nope! He is not a wonderful daddy and Lily is not a daddy's girl!

And finally, my period is not late and I did not take a pregnancy test this morning! That'd be crazy! And I am not just a little bit relieved that it was not negative. =)
