Beautiful weekend

How was your 4th of July weekend? Our was nice - pretty laid back - and the weather was gorgeous. On Friday we had our kids' pictures taken at a beautiful garden near here. They turned out GREAT! I'll share some of them with you sometime soon.

On Saturday Andy spent a lot of time in the basement. He and Keith got about 90% of the framing done and Andy did the rest on Sunday afternoon. It's really starting to take shape down there! Andy says that the electric and plumbing are next. That should be interesting!

That evening we had a little bbq here at our house with a few friends. I ended up taking Lily to see the fireworks while Andy stayed home with the sleeping baby.

Sunday was the men's final at WIMBLEDON!!! I love Wimbledon. I watched the first set and a few points from the second set before leaving for church. I was delighted (dare I say thrilled?) when I got home and got to watch the end LIVE!!! It was so exciting. I'm not exactly a fan of Andy Roddick, but I was pulling for him. He gave Roger Federer a run for his money and lost in the end, but it was an awesome match.

A couple snapshots from our weekend

One of several attempts to take a family picture. It wasn't meant to be! Neither one of our children were cooperating and this is about the best we could do. =)
