She and I met when we were waitressing at Perkins in Minneap*lis way back in 1998! She lived with my family for awhile and we were in each other's weddings and we've managed to keep in touch and stay close over the years. In fact, she and I were pregnant with our first babies at the same time and had the same due date!!!
Anyway, we'd been wanting to get our kids together for awhile and she wanted to see the new house and we finally found a day that worked for both of us.
We hung out at our house for awhile and when the kids got hungry we went through Wendy's drive thru. We decided to eat at one of Lily's favorite parks which worked out great. We could leave the mess behind and the kids were able to run and wear themselves out a bit. It was a gorgeous day and we all had fun.

Trying out this crazy seesaw.One of the best things about this park is the shade! There are lovely, HUGE trees which offer great protection from the sun!
