Eggless Chocolate Cake

4 1/2 c. flour

3 c. sugar

1 c. cocoa

1 c. oil

3 c. water

3 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 T vanilla

Preheat oven to 350, grease 9 x 13 pan.

In a large bowl sift together flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Add sugar and mix.

Add oil, water and vanilla and mix thoroughly.

.

Pour into pan and bake 1 hour (30-35 minutes for 2 round pans).

I don't know if any of you have any need for an eggless cake recipe, but I made this one for Taylor's birthday and it turned out quite well. I was impressed.

I modifed it by putting in 2 cups of sugar rather than 3, adding a teaspoon of baking powder and a cup of chocolate chips. I'll definitely use this recipe again for Taylor's future celebrations and whathaveyou. =)
